Santino Ferrucci gets Haas F1 test days in Hungary

Haas development driver Santino Ferrucci will get behind the wheel of the VF-17 for next week’s in-season test at the Hungaroring. Ferrucci, 19, joined Haas as its development driver in 2016 and received his first taste of Formula 1 machinery during the two-day group session at Silverstone. Haas has mirrored its 2016 schedule for the second 2017 mid-season running at the Hungaroring, with Ferrucci set to drive the car on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ferrucci currently occupies 14th position in the GP3 championship, his second season in the tertiary category. Gene Haas confirmed last week that Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen will continue to race for the outfit in 2018.
