Mercedes ‘going to try' hold onto Hamilton

With 18 months left to run in his current Mercedes deal, Toto Wolff says the Brackley squad are keen to 'find an agreement for the future' with Lewis Hamilton. As F1's silly season hits high gear, much of the focus has been on the 2019 season. The rumour mill has Hamilton heading to Ferrari then with Sebastian Vettel moving over to Mercedes. Wolff, though, says he is keen to keep Hamilton at Mercedes. The motorsport boss told Sky Sports News: 'We are having a really good relationship and talking about the future, albeit this is a very tough championship so we are concentrating on the weekends.
