30-place grid penalty for Alonso

Fernando Alonso will start yet another race from the back of the grid, with the Spaniard set for a 30-place grid penalty at the British Grand Prix. According to BBC Sport, Alonso will have a new engine fitted ahead of Saturday's FP3 and qualifying sessions, taking him onto eight turbochargers for the season and his sixth ICE and MGU-K parts. The limit for the year before penalties come into effect is four. The Spaniard is also onto his fifth energy store after that was fitted on Friday. Alonso accumulated 25 penalty places following FP2, in addition to five position drop he received for the new battery. The new engine is one of Honda's Spec-3 power units, which give a power boost of 8kw...
