Rosberg admits F1 World Drivers’ Championship trophy “got lost”

Reigning Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg has revealed that he recently lost the Drivers’ Championship trophy. Speaking on stage at the F1 London Live event in Trafalgar Square, the now-retired Rosberg confessed to losing possession of the silver and gold award – which features the engraved signatures of all previous champions – just before the Goodwood Festival of Speed. “It is very special to me, of course, but I’ve had a massive scare because we sent it off to Goodwood recently – with super-high security – and it got lost,” he said. “It was gone for five days.
