Ferrari ‘not interested' in Alonso return

Fernando Alonso shouldn't knock on Ferrari's door for a 2018 race-seat as Sergio Marchionne says they are 'not interested.' The double World Champion is believed to be looking for a new home for next year's championship. Reports have linked him to most of the top teams on the grid including a return to Ferrari. That, though, won't happen according to Marchionne. 'Alonso may well have shown the desire to return [to Ferrari], but he did not find the right response from our side,' Motorsport.com quotse Marchionne as having said.  'We’re not interested.'
