Alonso: Turn 1 crash down to Kvyat taking "unnecessary" risk

Fernando Alonso suggests Daniil Kvyat's error at the start of the Austrian Grand Prix was caused by the Toro Rosso drive taking risks amid uncertainty over his Formula 1 future. Alonso was running around 10th place at the entry to the first corner when Kvyat locked up, made contact with the Spaniard and tipped him into a spin. The stricken McLaren then collected Max Verstappen’s Red Bull, resulting in damage that put both cars out of the race.
