Williams appoints Dave Redding to role of team manager

Dave Redding will join the Williams team after the British Grand Prix in the role of team manager where he will be responsible for the 'overall management of the operational and sporting aspects' of the outfit. Redding previously held the same role at McLaren and has done since 2009 after joining the team as a systems engineer in 2001. Prior to that he held positions at Jaguar, Stewart and Benetton. He now joins Williams, replacing current sporting director Steve Nielson, who will leave the team on July 31.
