Alfonso Celis Jr gets FP1 outings in Austria, Hungary

Force India’s reserve driver Alfonso Celis Jr will make first practice outings at the up-coming races in Austria and Hungary. The Mexican racer was signed as a development driver for 2016 and completed six FP1 runs during the year, alongside test sessions. Celis has already tried out the team’s 2017 car, the VJM10, during pre-season testing in Barcelona and at the post-Bahrain GP test. He will be back behind the wheel of the VJM10 in first practice for the Austrian and Hungarian Formula 1 races. Celis will replace Sergio Perez at the Red Bull Ring and Esteban Ocon at the Hungaroring. Currently driving in the Formula V8 3.5 series with Fortec, Celis is third in the championship...
