Stroll says early criticism was 'just noise'
– Williams rookie Lance Stroll says criticism he received during the opening stages of the campaign was "just noise", after he claimed his maiden podium finish in Azerbaijan.Stroll struggled across the first part of the campaign as he trailed team-mate Felipe Massa, and failed to score a point amid a lack of pace, incidents and reliability woes.However, Stroll scored his first points at his home race in Canada before out-qualifying Massa for the first time around the streets of Baku.In a wild race, Stroll maintained his composure and ran in second place over the final stint, slipping behind Valtteri Bottas in the dying seconds.Stroll nonetheless secured third spot, becoming...
