Silverstone announces four-day weekend

Silverstone's organises have confirmed that this year's race weekend will run for four days with F2 and GP3 practice moved to Thursday. Last week it was reported that Silverstone could take steps to ease the packed schedule by holding some practices on the Thursday. This has now been confirmed with F2 and GP3 practices taking place a day earlier than usual. These sessions will be followed in the evening by a concert featuring Scottish band Travis. Tickets for the Thursday are available at £40 for adults and £20 for children while those already holding weekend tickets have access to Thursday's action excluding the concert.
