Verstappen fined for media no-show

Max Verstappen landed himself in hot water after making a quick escape from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Dutchman's frustrating season continued in Baku after suffering his fourth retirement in six races, commenting on team radio 'here we go again' as his RB13 came to a stop on lap 12. It then emerged that Verstappen failed to fulfil his media obligations after deciding to leave the track early and go back to his hotel. As a result, Verstappen was in breach of Article 19.4 of the Sporting Regulations stipulates that any driver who has failed to finish should report to the press in the specified area and was fined 25,000 Euros.
