Alonso vows to win in 2018

Fernando Alonso has vowed he will win in Formula 1 in 2018 - even though the Spaniard still does not know for which team he will be driving. After three years of frustration and disappointment with the ill-fated McLaren-Honda project, Alonso will make a decision on his future after the summer break, adamant his only criteria will be securing a race-winning seat. "I will wait and make the best decision and whatever decision l will take it's because l will win in 2018," Alonso told Sky Sports F1 in an interview which will be broadcast as part of the build-up to Sunday's Azerbaijan GP from 12.30pm.
