Renault rejects Kubica Italy FP1 rumours

– Renault Managing Director Cyril Abiteboul has shot down rumours linking Robert Kubica to a Friday practice outing at September's Italian Grand Prix.Kubica raced for Renault in Formula 1 in 2010 and was set to compete for the outfit the following season, until his career was cut short when he sustained serious arm injuries in a rally crash.Kubica, having returned to action in rallying and circuit racing, climbed back into the cockpit of a Formula 1 car earlier this month for the first time since 2011, in a private test organised by Renault.The Pole completed 115 laps of Valencia's Ricardo Tormo Circuit in the 2012-spec E20, and intimated afterwards that he was eyeing a "proper...
