Grosjean: Sainz Jr. move like Spa 2012
– Haas driver Romain Grosjean likened Carlos Sainz Jr.'s actions on the opening lap of the Canadian Grand Prix to his own driving at the start of the Belgian Grand Prix five years ago.Sainz Jr. moved across on Grosjean on the run between Turns 2 and 3, and the pair made contact, with the Toro Rosso being pitched sideways across the grass on the inside of the circuit.Sainz Jr.'s out-of-control car careered into Felipe Massa, with both retiring, while McLaren-Honda's Fernando Alonso had to take evasive action, having narrowly avoiding contact.The Spaniard was deemed culpable for driving in a "careless and potentially dangerous" manner, and Grosjean says Sainz Jr.'s move was...
