Ocon hits out at Perez in Force India civil war

Force India’s Esteban Ocon has hit out at his teammate Sergio Perez after a frantic conclusion to the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. The team had been challenging Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo for a podium finish, but its race descended into a civil war in the closing stages – which allowed Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel to pass both of them. On multiple occasions previously, Perez’s engineer suggested swapping places with Ocon – who was on fresher tyres – to allow him to attack Ricciardo ahead.
