Pirelli expects one-stop Canadian GP

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli says a one-stop strategy, made up of runs on the Ultra Soft and Soft compounds, will be the quickest approach to the Canadian Grand Prix.In theory, the quickest strategy is a one-stop featuring a 22-lap stint on the Ultra Soft tyre, before a 48-lap run on the Soft tyre – the hardest compound this weekend.Another one-stop plan, but slightly slower, would be to run for 33 laps on the Ultra Soft tyre, before switching to the Super Soft, for a 37-lap drive to the chequered flag.As a third, much slower option, Pirelli has outlined a potential two-stop strategy, comprising two stints of 22 laps on the Ultra Soft tyre, and a final 26-lap run on the Super...
