Robert Kubica wants 'proper comeback' following Formula 1 test

Robert Kubica has admitted he would like to make a 'proper comeback' to Formula 1 following his test with the Renault F1 Team this week. Kubica got behind the wheel of an F1 car for the first time this week since his rally crash in 2011, in which he suffered serious injuries to his right-arm. The test, which was organised by Renault, put the Polish driver in a Lotus E20 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo on Tuesday, with Kubica lapping the circuit 115 times. Speaking to Sky Sports, Kubica says the test has proven his ability to drive an F1 car competitively and for an extended period of time, which he hopes will lead to a comeback in the future.
