F1 creates research group to focus on racing

– Formula 1 officials have created a research group in order to make cars "more raceable" in the future, new sporting chief Ross Brawn has explained.Increased downforce levels, brought on by faster cars under revised 2017 regulations, has led to drivers finding it more difficult to follow rivals through corners.Brawn accepted that the sport has been "very fortunate" that the issue has been masked to an extent by two teams closely battling at the front of the pack.However, he believes the sport is well-placed to analyse how matters can be improved."If I am honest, we have been very fortunate this year that we've had two teams that are battling it out so...
