Pirelli nominates softest compounds for Singapore GP

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has nominated the three softest compounds from its range for the sport’s visit to Singapore in September. As per 2016, the Ultrasoft (purple), Supersoft (red) and Soft (yellow) tyres will be available in order to cope with the demands of the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Each driver must save one set of Ultrasoft tyres for use only in Q3, while one set of either the Supersoft or Soft tyres must be used during one stint of the Grand Prix. It is set to be the sixth Grand Prix this season in which the three softest compounds have been nominated by Pirelli.
