Sato wins Indy500 as Alonso gets stopped by Honda engine failure

Fernando Alonso's charge for victory at the Indianapolis 500 mile race was halted by a Honda engine failure on lap 180 or 200. The Spaniard impressed with solid driving, and remained in the hunt throughout the entire race, but just like in F1, an engine failure prevented him to finish. 20 laps later, former F1 driver Takuma Sato won the 101st running on the Indy500. Having dropped down to 9th at the start, Alonso worked his way back up and led 26 laps of the race. He impressed many, but as the race progressed, so started the engine failure for Honda engines. Ryan Hunter Ray retired little past halfway from the lead with a smoking engine, while 2 others did as well before Alonso also came...
