F1 appoints engineers to help shape rules

– Formula 1 has announced several appointments to its motorsport division, overseen by Ross Brawn, in an attempt to boost its ability to advise on future regulations.After completing its takeover of F1, Liberty Media installed Brawn as Managing Director (Motor Sport), with Sean Bratches arriving as Managing Director (Commercial).In a new push, Jason Somerville has been signed as Head of Aerodynamics, with Craig Wilson installed as Head of Vehicle Performance, both highly-experienced in F1 after stints at several teams."Together they will form part of a small group of engineers dedicated to researching fully the direction and implications of future regulations of the sport,"...
