Latifi to get first run in Renault R.S.17
– Formula 2 racer Nicholas Latifi will get his first run in Renault's R.S.17 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this week as part of Pirelli 2018 tyre development testing.Latifi, 21, joined Renault last year in a test role, "as part of a long-term programme", and also acts as a brand ambassador for team partner Infiniti in Canada.The Canadian, sixth in the F2 standings after two rounds, will take to the track on the second day of the test (Wednesday), following Jolyon Palmer's outing on Tuesday.Latifi recently tested F1 machinery with Mercedes, while last year he made outings in Renault's 2012 car, the E20, during private running at Silverstone and Valencia."I am...
