Vettel, Raikkonen bemoan ‘difficult' day

Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were a little downbeat about Ferrari's first showing at the Spanish Grand Prix race weekend. Rivals Mercedes, armed with a new-look W08, finished 1-2 in both practice sessions at the Circuit de Catalunya, with the Scuderia managing to close the gap to within half a second despite less than encouraging longer stints. However, both drivers retain hope that they will improve as the weekend progresses. 'Today I wasn't very happy with the feeling I was getting but I can also feel the car was quick,' Vettel said in the paddock. 'The car was slippery but I think that was because of the conditions.
