30 New venues have contacted FOM to host a grand prix
Clearly the new owners of Formula 1 are taking their asset seriously and are undoubtedly looking to grow their asset in the future. Now F1’s new commercial director Sean Bratches has told media that he is looking to target new city-based circuit events and also develop the current race calendar in a more fan/team personal friendly manor. Bratches went on to say that since he had started work at Formula One Management, he had been contacted by nearly 30 potential venues, each wanting their own grand prix. “From a broader sense, I think we'd like to create a balance between Europe, the Americas and Asia,” Bratches said. “In a perfect world we'd like to have...
