Ricciardo 'staying positive' despite gap

– Daniel Ricciardo says he is "staying positive" about Red Bull's prospects in 2017 despite a sizeable deficit to pole position at the Russian Grand Prix.Red Bull has started the season as the third quickest team, unable to fight with Ferrari and Mercedes in normal conditions, but a chunk clear of the chasing pack.Ricciardo achieved his pre-event target of fifth during qualifying at Sochi Autodrom, with the gap to pole-sitting Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel coming in at 1.7 seconds.However, the Australian referenced 2016, when Red Bull faced a similar deficit in Russia, only to take victory at the following round in Spain and pole position in Monaco.Speaking after...
