Bottas: First GP win ‘well worth the wait'
Valtteri Bottas has said that his first-ever Formula 1 win of his career was 'well worth the wait' after a tense and tight finish at the Russian Grand Prix. Bottas became the fifth driver from Finland to win a Formula 1 race and also the first Finnish winner since 2013, but had to work very hard for the victory after being pushed all the way by Sebastian Vettel, who extended his World Championship lead to 13 points. 'It feels amazing,' said Bottas on the podium. 'It's been quite a while, more than 80 races, but worth the wait, well worth the learning curve.
