Räikkönen felt pole was within reach

– Kimi Räikkönen reckons pole position was within his grasp before he was overhauled by Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel during the closing stages of Q3 in Russia.Räikkönen clocked provisional pole position after the first runs in Q3 and was on course to marginally improve his benchmark, before he ran wide through the final corner on his second effort.Räikkönen consequently did not improve his time and was demoted to second place when Vettel recorded his final flying effort, the gap between the pair just 0.059s."Obviously the aim is to be on the front," said Räikkönen, poised to start from the front row for the first time since the 2015 Italian Grand...
