Speed bumps added to Turn 2 at Sochi
– Speed bumps have been added to Sochi Autodrom's Turn 2 ahead of this year's Russian Grand Prix, in a bid to stop drivers from cutting the corner and gaining an advantage.After the Turn 1 kink, drivers are faced with their first braking zone at Turn 2, which has been the scene of several incidents since the circuit joined the F1 calendar in 2014.Ahead of this year's event, speed bumps 50mm high and painted fluorescent orange have been placed three metres from the track edge at the exit of Turn 2, heading into Turn 3.FIA Race Director Charlie Whiting, in his usual pre-event notes, stated that drivers who run wide at Turn 2 must stick to the left of the second orange kerb before...
