Fernando Alonso visits Andretti factory, completes Indy 500 seat fitting

McLaren Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has visited the Andretti Autosport factory and completed his seat fitting for the Indianapolis 500. The Spaniard will make his IndyCar debut at the iconic race next month, missing the Monaco Grand Prix to compete at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The McLaren entry with Honda power will be run by the Andretti team, with Alonso’s factory visit following a trip to last weekend’s Grand Prix of Alabama. He spent time at the Barber Motorsports Park talking to the media, checking out the cars and catching up with the drivers he will go up against.
