Gasly joins Red Bull for Bahrain test

Red Bull has announced Pierre Gasly will split driving duties with Daniel Ricciardo at the two-day test in Bahrain. Gasly, who won last year's GP2 series, will be given a full day behind the wheel of the RB13 on Wednesday as Ricciardo kick-starts proceedings on Tuesday. Gasly is no stranger to Red Bull, having tested for them at Silverstone last season and also taking part in a tyre test program in 2016, too. The Frenchman has hopes of joining the Formula 1 grid in 2018 after missing out on a seat at Toro Rosso this season.
