Vandoorne out of the Bahrain GP

Back in his garage before the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix, Stoffel Vandoorne admits it 'looks like' it is yet another Honda engine issue. Vandoorne left his McLaren-Honda garage to make his way to the grid for the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday evening. However, soon after his car was pushed back into the garage by the mechanics. 'We had a problem with the car again on the way to the formation lap,' he said. Asked specifically if it was an engine problem, the same as that which afflicted the team earlier in the week, he replied: 'It looks like.' Reports have suggested that it is the same MGU-H issue that McLaren-Honda suffered thrice already over the Bahrain weekend.
