IndyCar stars react to Alonso/500 deal

– Leading IndyCar racers have welcomed Fernando Alonso to the championship, following the news that the Spaniard will make a one-off appearance at the Indianapolis 500 this year.Alonso will compete for the one-car McLaren team, which will be run by Andretti, and supplied by Honda engines, for next month's 101st running of the event.Alonso will be part of Andretti's six-car effort for the event, which includes Ryan-Hunter Reay, Marco Andretti, Takuma Sato, Herta-affiliated reigning champion Alexander Rossi, and newcomer Jack Harvey."Welcome to the team Fernando," posted Hunter-Reay on Twitter."The epitome of a true racer.
