FP2 called off as poor weather continues

– Friday's second free practice session for the Chinese Grand Prix was scrapped as poor weather conditions, in particular low visibility, continued to impact proceedings at the Shanghai International Circuit.Continuing drizzle and mist, which drivers would have been able to cope with, meant that the medical helicopter would not have been able to land at the designated hospital, located in downtown Shanghai.Race Control delayed the start of the session, frequently assessed the situation and ultimately declared that it would not get underway, some 15 minutes from the scheduled end of running."At the moment the helicopter can't land at the hospital, which is about 38km away,...
