Hülkenberg picks up four penalty points

– Renault driver Nico Hülkenberg says taking a "risk" at the wet/dry Chinese Grand Prix backfired, as he picked up four penalty points for separate infractions.Hülkenberg started from seventh position, having netted Renault's first Q3 appearance since its comeback, and opted to pit at the end of the opening lap for slick tyres.However, the implementation of the Virtual Safety Car, before the appearance of the Safety Car, scuppered his prospects.Hülkenberg was deemed to have overtaken Romain Grosjean during the Virtual Safety Car phase and passed Marcus Ericsson behind the Safety Car, collecting five- and 10-second penalties.The German was also handed four penalty points,...
