Sebastian Vettel heads Ferrari 1-2 in China F1 FP3

Sebastian Vettel led a 1-2 for Ferrari during the final practice session for the Chinese Grand Prix during dry conditions at the Shanghai International Circuit. Low-lying cloud on Friday led to only 15 minutes of running across the two sessions, with the medical helicopter unable to land at the designated hospital. The truncated Friday running placed a greater importance on Saturday’s one-hour session and it was Vettel who wound up quickest, with a time of 1:33.336. Vettel’s lap, set midway through the session, was 0.053s faster than team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, as the leading group all registered their best times on the Super Soft compound.
