Williams happy with 'invaluable' wet running despite curtailed sessions

Williams have described Friday's limited running as 'invaluable', despite completing just 14 laps between both drivers thanks to a shortened first practice and an abandoned second practice due to weather conditions, which meant the medical helicopter was unable to land at the nearest hospital in case of an emergency. With just one day of wet pre-season running, teams have gathered very little data on the intermediate and wet tyres, whilst Williams have no data at all after they were unable to take part in the wet test following a crash for Lance Stroll the day before.
