Marchionne: We need to be involved in Formula E

Ferrari big boss Sergio Marchionne insists that Ferrari have a future in Formula E, following the likes of Audi, Renault, Jaguar and Citroen, with BMW and Mercedes set to become part of the series. In an interview with Auto, an official FIA magazine, Marchionne said, 'We need to be involved in Formula E because electrification via hybridisation is going to be part of our future. 'Hybridisation is crucial to Ferrari. There is no denying that regulations put us under pressure, but we could reach those targets in other ways.'
