Star Sports to air exclusive McLaren-Honda content in new deal

McLaren-Honda has signed a deal with leading Indian broadcaster Star Sports to provide more behind-the-scenes access to the Formula 1 team. As part of the agreement, Star Sports - which has exclusive rights to broadcast F1 in India till 2022 - will air bespoke content, including exclusive TV interviews with drivers Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne. Several contests will also be organised, giving fans a chance to watch a F1 race from McLaren’s garage, meet its drivers, and get a free ride in a McLaren sportscar. Star Sports branding will also appear on the overalls of Alonso and Vandoorne throughout the season - making its first appearance in the upcoming Chinese GP. McLaren and Star...
