Wehrlein officially cleared to race in Australia

– Sauber driver Pascal Wehrlein has been officially cleared to take part in this weekend's Australian Grand Prix, following governing body the FIA's medical examination.Wehrlein suffered a back injury in a crash at the Race of Champions in January and missed the opening pre-season test which ran over late February and early March.He returned to action at the second test, after a medical check-up, but the FIA wanted to carry out tests of its own ahead of the season-opener at Melbourne's Albert Park.Wehrlein's pre-event assessment was overseen by Alain Chantegret, the FIA's medical delegate, and Brent May, who is the Chief Medical Officer for the Australian Grand Prix.Wehrlein will...
