Lauda ‘surprised' by Rosberg's test appearance

Niki Lauda has said he was 'surprised' to see retired World Champion Nico Rosberg at Barcelona, questioning why he did not stay away. Rosberg took selfies with his former engineers and posted a video with his impressions of the new cars on a visit to Mercedes. Lauda thought that now Rosberg has retired he would be wanting to spend more time with his family, but ruled out the appearance being out him having second thoughts about his decision. 'I was surprised, to be honest,' Lauda admitted at a Mercedes sponsor's event. 'If I wanted to stop, I would stay away for a while to enjoy my child and my wife properly.
