Bottas fastest for Mercedes on Day 3

Valtteri Bottas set the fastest time for Mercedes Formula 1 team during the third day of the first F1 pre-season test of 2017, with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel closely followed behind.  The ultra-soft tyres made its first appearance of the year today, and was used by Finn Valtteri Bottas to set a 1.19.705, which was the fastest time around the Circuit de Catalunya for the last 10 years, and the fastest with the new configuration, which was implemented 2008 onwards. Ferrari's good form continued as they hope to recover from a dreadful 2016 season, Sebastian Vettel finished the day in second with satisfactory mileage, and the German driver was just two tenths adrift of Bottas' time, despite...
