Williams end day two early after Stroll spin
Barcelona Testing – Lance Stroll will not participate in the afternoon session after spinning out of the second day of testing. The Williams rookie wasted no time in registering a dozen laps of the circuit in the opening hour of the day. However, a spin on the exit of the fast right-handed turn nine sent his Williams FW40 across the gravel trap. He came to a stop on the escape road, where he completed a three-point turn and recovered back to the garage, causing a temporary red flag. It was thought that the damage to Stroll's car looked minor, but Williams have been forced to end their second test day early.
