Williams ends Day 2 running after Stroll incident
The Williams team has been forced to end its second day of testing at Barcelona early after its car was damaged in the morning. Stroll's first day of testing in the Williams FW40 ended after just 12 laps due to damage incurred in a trip through a gravel trap. Stroll suffered front wing damage in the incident, and the team did not have the parts to allow him to run again today. The Canadian has thus in effect lost one of his four precious days of winter testing with the new car, following his acclimatisation programme with an old FW36.
