Red Bull launch championship challenger RB13
Red Bull have launched the RB13; the car tipped to challenge Mercedes for the 2017 world championship. As Formula One returns to an aero-dominated formula Red Bull, known as the best team when it comes to aerodynamics, are expected to take the step up and fight for wins this year. Like the majority of 2017 cars, the RB13 has a thumb-tipped nose and has a shark fin, rather than a T-wing which Mercedes and Ferrari have shown. The nose does, however, feature a hole at the end. It is as yet unclear as to its purpose, but the likelihood is either for cooling or as a further development of the S-duct which takes air flowing around the front of the nose and redirects it around the cockpit.
