Mercedes F1 engine gains 'unfortunate' for Honda

Honda's Yusuke Hasegawa admits that the anticipated gains by the Mercedes power unit is 'unfortunate' for Honda, as the Japanese manufacturer believes their power unit will be at the level of Mercedes' 2016 power unit.    Mercedes has had the edge over the field thanks to its power unit and class chassis, Renault and Ferrari have lingered in the background throughout the turbo era, however were unable to pose a reasonable threat to Mercedes during this period.
