Felipe Massa to get first taste of 2017 Williams

Felipe Massa will be the first driver to drive Williams Martini Racing’s 2017 challenger, when he takes to the track at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Monday 27 February. The Brazilian, who announced his retirement at the Italian Grand Prix in 2016 before being tempted back to the team to allow Valtteri Bottas join the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, will drive the FW40 on Monday before handing over to his new team-mate Lance Stroll. 2016 FIA European Formula 3 Champion Stroll will make his official Formula 1 testing debut on Tuesday, having previously run in older Williams cars in order to prepare himself for the jump to the premiere single seater category.
