Di Resta to remain as Williams reserve driver in 2017

Paul Di Resta will continue in his role as official reserve driver for the Williams Martini Racing F1 team in 2017. The British driver made his debut in F1 as a test driver for the Sahara Force India F1 Team back in 2009, before winning the DTM title alongside his duties in 2010. The next year he was promoted to a full-time seat with the Silverstone based squad, where he remained for three seasons before losing his seat, despite some strong performances, and dropping out of F1 at the end of 2013. Financially unable to secure a drive in the pinnacle of motorsport, Di Resta moved back to DTM, before taking up his role at Williams in 2016. The Brit will join the squad at race weekends...
