Gutiérrez 'too confident' over Haas seat
– Esteban Gutiérrez has admitted to being "too confident" that he would retain a seat at Haas for the upcoming Formula 1 season, before Kevin Magnussen replaced him.Gutiérrez made his Formula 1 debut with Sauber, contesting the 2013/14 seasons, and returned to the grid in 2016 after spending a year as a test/reserve driver at Ferrari.As the campaign wore on, Gutiérrez repeatedly stated that he had a race seat for 2017, but Haas opted to sign Magnussen from Renault as Romain Grosjean's team-mate.Gutiérrez has now switched his focus to Formula E, with outings planned in Mexico City and New York, and says he "doesn't blame anybody" for losing his place in Formula...
