FE's next-gen contender: the future of Formula 1?

©FormulaE Formula E has provided a glimpse of its future development with the release by Spark Racing Technologies of images of its next generation FE contender. Part-owned by former Renault team principal Frederic Vasseur, Spark has won the tender to supply the series next specification chassis. It is understood that the current renderings offer just a basic idea of the car's general concept, which will apparently include a faired-wheel approach as well as an aeroscreen cockpit safety device similar what Red Bull tested in F1 last year.
