McLaren confirms BP/Castrol fuel deal

– McLaren has confirmed that BP and Castrol will act as its new fuel partner for 2017.Mobil 1 previously supplied McLaren with fuel and lubricants in Formula 1, in a deal running from 1995 through 2016, but the brand completed a switch to rival team Red Bull over the off-season.McLaren joins French manufacturer Renault in securing BP/Castrol's various products.From the upcoming Formula 1 season, BP will supply its range of lubricants for Honda's engine, while Castrol will provide lubricants and greases for McLaren's machine shop and dynamic chassis rig."This agreement between McLaren, BP and Castrol is between brands who both share a long-standing and well-recognised passion for...
